Tarte is one of my favorite lines, as it dispels the myth that organic or natural makeup is boring. I have not been disappointed in any Tarte products I have tried, and trust me... it's been A LOT since my daughter works at Sephora :)

So what are my absolute favorites? Here you go...

Lights, Camera, Lashes Mascara - as someone with light, thin lashes this 4-in-1 mascara truly satisfies all my needs in one fabulous mascara - it volumizes, lengthens, thickens and curls without fail. I also adore the precious purple case. This mascara is my absolute favorite, and I have tried hundreds in my lifetime.

4 Day Lash Stain - again, one with non-existent lashes can appreciate a product like this. Does it last 4 days? Not totally, but it is great for 2-3 days, especially on weekends when I just want SOME color on my lashes. It doesn't lengthen and all that, but provides a nice tint for casual wear.

Eye Primer with Firmitol - I never thought eye primer was necessary, but try it on one eye and see the difference. Shadows pop and last a heck of a lot longer. They look cleaner too. This one provides very light, blendable application that actually does firm and lift the eye as promised! A definite must-have as most eye primers I find to be dry and just don't blend all that well. So far it seems to be keeping the dreaded crepiness at bay.

Mineral Powder Bronzer in Park Avenue Princess - a light shimmery gold without TOO much shimmer, as I look horrible in too much shimmer. This is by far the best bronzer I have tried. It doesn't look muddy or harsh. Provides the perfect glow. Period.

Smooth Operator Micronized Clay Finishing Powder - a truly translucent finishing powder that helps reduce the size and appearance of pores by 20% after 4 weeks. Perfectly sets makeup all day long - seriously... I don't have midday glazed donut face ever! Again, my search for the perfect finishing powder has ended. Not that I won't try others but I keep going back to this one over and over again.

Tarte Cosmetics offers great value sets and is constantly coming out with new, innovative products that deliver amazing beneficial results. Eco-friendly, never tested on animals and free of parabens, mineral oil, etc.

A definite thumbs up! More favorites to come, I am sure...... keep checking.

Revolution Organics is a fabulous line of organic beauty products that rock! They very generously allowed me to try all their products and I must say - I love them all! Their unique line is superior in quality with really good-for-you ingredients. I am so impressed with their customer service and genuine dedication to providing glamorous, chic products without any nasty chemicals. They're providing beauty and treatment at the same time... gotta love that!

Freedom Glow Beauty Balm: This multi-tasking winner comes in 3 shades: Blushed, Sun-kissed and Bronzed. This ever-lasting creamy balm can be used on lips, cheeks, eyes, decollete, forehead, etc... wherever a glow is needed. I find it to be extremely creamy in texture and lasts a very, very long time (on the skin and the tube itself seems to last forever). It's good for your skin too ~ I love using products that are so beneficial and truly multi-task. I highly recommend this product as it just has so many uses and has never turned colors on me or let me down as far as longevity.  

Blushed is a vibrant pink that works for fair skin and I personally think it would work very well on darker skin looking for a true bright pink shade.

Sun-Kissed is an incredible medium shade that would work on any skintone I could imagine. It's my favorite as it provides the perfect peachy tone without going orange on my. I usually stay away from peachy tones because of this, but love that healthy peach look so many women sport. This is it!

Bronzed is a rich, gorgeous bronze that would look absolutely amazing in the summer on many skintones as well. It looks simply awesome on anyone's lips with any of Revoultion Organics' Lips Gloss shades. My daughter likes to use it under the "Freedom"  gloss shade for a very hot night-time look.

Freedom Lip Gloss:  This quickly became one of my favorite glosses - and I am a huge lip gloss snob. It is very difficult for me to fall in love with a lip gloss. They're either too sticky, thick, goopey, or the brush is not right, the taste is unpleasant, etc. However, this gloss is the perfect texture, taste and while glosses don't last as long as any lipstick ever will, these get pretty high marks for longevity as well. The packaging is sleek and slim too which I love. I tried all 5 shades and love them all. My absolute favorite though is Integrity.

The Lip Balm: I guess I'm a snob with lip products! As I'm writing this I realize I never use lip balms because I hate most of them. I don't like waxy lips or chunks of balm in my mouth as I'm applying them. Plus, I don't think the tubes are all that chic. Anyway... this lip balm comes in a chic black tube and tastes deliciously fresh (almost lemon-y) and instantly moisturizes lips. I use this daily and that says a lot being I dislike balms in general! It is packed with all kinds of goodies too! Fruit and plant extracts offer superb softness. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!


All-Over Skin Creme: This stuff smells so damn good! I am addicted to its ginger-like aroma that instantly cheers me up. I love to use it as a hand cream, but is meant for... well, all over! Even your face. It absorbs well and is NOT greasy - at all. That's a huge no-no for me and this creme is most definitely not greasy even though it contains oils (the good kind) like olive, apricot and thyme. It is formulated with 15 nourishing, body-loving organic ingredients. I am sure anyone would simply fall in love with the smell alone :)

I cannot express how luxurious Anthology Organic's products are - at such incredibly low prices. This line is a must-try. I have the Anti-aging Facial Serum and the Eye Serum. The aroma of these serums is addictive. They're herbal deliciousness. They not only smell simply divine, but are pure, high quality performers. I am very anxious to try more products from this line, and will post their reviews as I try them. They have masks, cleansers, body scrubs & butters, body oils and much more.

The shipping was super fast and the cobalt blue apothecary jars look like I paid 3x what I did. At $15 each, both products are superior compared to anything else I have tried. You can smell and feel the fact they're 99% organic. The labels are recycled paper and I will reuse the jars because they're just beautiful!

I was sent a complimentary jar of this divine creme by Tilvee Eco Ethical Skincare and have been using it as a night creme for 2 weeks. I love love love this creme! Made with argan oil - known as Moroccan "Liquid Gold" for its ability to revitalize skin, hair and nails, this creme won Delicious Living Magazine's "2010 Best Anti-Aging Creme Award" and for good reason. My face is baby soft in the morning! I am really pleased with this creme and for $35 it is superior in quality than most cremes that cost double or triple.  

It goes on creamy and absorbs quickly. I hate heavy, sticky cremes - at night especially! It smells earthy, fresh and also contains yummy ingredients like aloe (instead of water), rose, shea butter, carrot oil, lavender, vanilla, ylang ylang, lime, bergamot and lime. Contains absolutely NO parabens, gluten, petroleum, toxins, fragrances and comes in a glass jar. It is great for rosacea, sun damage (which I do have) and my skin is definitely smoother and calm. This is what I love about natural skincare! You will never go back. Trust me. I really believe the ingredients used in so many products just aggravate and irritate our skin. First of all - a huge thanks to Green Visions-Spa Therapy for sending me some amazing products to try! I've been using all the products and this is some great, affordable stuff! The line is made up of wine, berries and other all natural or organic ingredients without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, etc.

Everything smells delicious and I really enjoyed using these products!


Wine & Berries Facial Cleanser - lightly foaming, delicious smelling cleanser with an awesome clean feel afterwards. Non-drying, leaves your skin very clean and supple. It is terrific at removing all makeup too without stripping the skin though. I love love love the smell! It did a great job of thoroughly cleansing the skin.

Wine & Berries Toner Mist - a delightfully refreshing mist that did an amazing job of toning the skin and rebalancing the PH levels - it did not leave a film, or dry the skin out either. A really excellent toner. I spritzed on a cotton ball and gently wiped my face with it. Again, smells great too! 

Wine & Berries Moisturizing Facial Cream - a nicely whipped cream with a luxurious texture and smells berry fresh! Goes on very well, absorbs nicely and hydrates the skin perfectly. Not greasy at all, so I loved using this day or night. One of my favorites. It plumps the skin nicely without irritation or any heaviness. You will really enjoy this cream as it feels so luxurious, yet this line is very affordable and well worth trying.

Wine & Berries Clay Mask - well, you all know how I love masks and this is one of my favorites to use now. It is a light clay mask that is very easy to apply and does a phenomenal job of cleaning the skin without leaving it red or itchy like a lot of clay masks do. It dries nicely and comes off easily. You can feel it working and I use this at least once a week for a real treat because of the lovely smell and my skin looks extra glowing after I use this, apply the toner and the cream.... instant beauty!

A very impressive line and I would definitely like to try some of their other products for sure. I got my eye on the perfume oil and facial scrub with pomegranate, cabernet wine and blueberries. The Wild Ginger Alaea Salt Scrub and the Tropical Moisture Creme smell so fresh and clean. This entire line is pure spa-like luxuriousness that is affordable. The salt scrub is chunky yet gentle and the oils provide serious moisture without feeling greasy though. I wish there was a scratch & sniff on this page for you. I cannot explain how delicious everything smells! I use the creme after a shower and you will truly feel like you're at the spa. The cremes are luxurious yet soak in perfectly. Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

The Lavender Sugar Scrub & Butter Creme are made for pure relaxing bliss. If you haven't tried organic lavender, you have to smell it. It's like nothing else. Great for bedtime beautiness! Lavender is one of my favorites and again, this entire line of scrubs are effective yet gentle and the cremes/butters will leave you velvety as they're whipped. NOT greasy or waxy whatsoever. That's a big no-no for me.

The Bamboo Lemongrass Body Buff and Herbal Creme are divine. Think clear summer days, relaxation and herbally goodness. 
 
The Kona Coffee Body Polish & Body Butter are great for mornings in the winter! If you love coffee but want a clean smell at the same time, this is for you. The caffeine in the coffee improves circulation and reduces the appearance of cellulite, so I use the body polish on my thighs in particular. Tropical oils that have been incorporated into this fabulous scrub renew and restore the skin and you feel the difference immediately. The body butter is smooth, creamy and smells heavenly. If you're unsure of coffee-scented products, I promise you will love this. 

The Papaya & Pineapple Enzyme Masque has become a staple for me. I use it 1-2x a week for gentle, natural exfoliation of the skin. I am a huge believer in exfoliation but some brands tend to burn or leave your skin red & itchy. I have not experienced this with this mask. It lasts forever too! It's a gel-like masque that works exactly as it is supposed to. I used to use at-home acid peels but now use this instead. It is much gentler and just works.

The Soothing Lavender Masque is great for use after a mud masque, for sunburn or any redness or irritation whatsoever. Or, just if you want to smell this and relax for 20 minutes while getting hydrated. It can be used on oily skin too! I LOVE the smell and use this 1-2x a week after a mud treatment for a supple feel to my newly deep cleaned face! It is gel-like as well and I could literally smell it all day long.

You will not be disapointed in any of these products. The handmade sinamay bags, boxes and attention to details in how this line is packaged will impress you.

This is one product I will never be without. La Isha Skincare is the first all natural skincare line formulated for women over 35. I have been using the SOS Breast Serum for about 4 months and I enjoy putting this on my decollete each night. The smell is so addictive (herbally rose) and it has really made a difference in the texture of my skin. I have lots of sun damage, especially in this area, so I was desperate to find something that really worked. My skin is tighter, more supple and the spots have dramatically lightened.  

The large bottle (64ml or 2.16oz) is a bit more than a quarter empty and will last for a very long time. It's $110 and worth every penny because of its powerful effectiveness and the fact it will last so long. You only need a few drops and I don't miss a night! There is also an intro size bottle (30ml or 1oz) and is $65.

This serum is also highly recommended for women preparing for breast surgery, or is a great treatment for post surgery to rejuvenate the skin. It has been mentioned on many sites, magazines, etc. and deserves even more recognition for its incredible ingenuity and special purpose! You will look forward to applying this every night - not only for its lovely smell but as you see it working (give it a couple of weeks) you will remember this post!
